Notes for Albert Patrick Farabaugh
Albert, aka Bert, was a brick mason and the family settled in Gary, Indiana, in about 1910. In 1942, he was employed by Proser Holles of Morningside Contractors.

According to a relative, Colleen Cihak, all of Albert’s sons resembled him. He was a brick layer all his life and owned three duplexes. Albert was a hard worker, and enjoyed cookies, candy, Pepsi, chewing tobacco and his grandchildren. He also enjoyed trips to Chicago to look at the architecture and knew many of the buildings and their builders. Albert always owned a Buick, which was kept in the garage and in spotless condition. He died sitting in his favorite easy chair, after just having breakfast.

An Albert J. “Farbaugh” is listed in the 1938 Polk Directory for Pittsburgh, Pa.
Notes for Emma Thressa (Spouse 1)
According to a relative, Colleen Cihak, Emma was considered to be a very strict woman.  She and her husband lived to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. Albert was devoted to her and called her "mother.” In her latter years, Theresa was cared for by her two maiden daughters, Marcella and Bernie.
