Frank was raised in Carroll Township, Cambria Co., Pa. He was a butcher. In 1893, it was reported that while a resident of Carroll Township he was working for the new railroad. The couple settled in Vintondale, Pa., where Frank was a wholesale liquor dealer in 1910. In 1913, the family returned to the farm in East Carroll Township. Frank died of stomach cancer.
