Ruth and Charles settled in Glendive, Mont. Ruth was raised in New Orleans, where she was a Mardi Gras Festival Queen in 1942. After relocating to Montana, she had various occupations, including telephone e\operator for Mountain Bell, cashier at the Red Owl and Reynolds Grocery in Baker, Safeway cashier in Glendive, home health aide for the Dawson Co. Health Department, cook at the Washington in Glendive and cook at the Grandview Retirement Home.

“Rudy” later lived in Baker and settled in Ekalaka, Mont. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII.
