in 1940, Mary and Edward were living in Covington Township, Clearfield Co., Pa., at the home of Edward’s brother, Leo. Mary was well-known for her wedding cakes. He taught cake decoration at Clearfield County Vocational Tech School and for a short while was employed by Curtiss Wright Corp. of Quehanna.
