Robert entered in the U.S. Air Force in 1960, and served 3 years in the Phillipines and a 4th year at the Great Falls, Montana, Air Base. He retired from the military in 1964. Following his marriage to Jeannie Kruzel, they settled in Lester Prarie, Minn. Robert worked for Advanced Machines in Spring Park. He died as a result of a car accident on County Road 9, between Lester Prarie and Plato, Minn.
