Settled in Emeigh, Pa. and/or Dixonville, Pa. He was known as “Jack” and worked many years for Al’s Tires in Barnesboro, Pa. In 1990, he was critially injured when a truck tire innertube exploded and a steel ring ring retainer struck him on the head. He was hospitalized in serious condition for several days, but soon recovered from the ordeal.
