Notes for Charles Poss
In 1860, Charles was a farmer living with his wife and their four daughters in Carroll Twp., Cambria Co., Pa.

His Will directed that all possessions go to his wife Regina until his youngest daughter turns 21 or Regina remarries, at which time Regina’s share was to be reduced to 1/3 with 2/3 applied to raise the children, with the family home to be made available to “one of the boys” at a reasonable price. It nominated as executors James Kirkpatrick and Augustin Fehrenbacher.
Notes for Regina Rachael (Spouse 1)
Regina immigrated in 1842 or 1855. After the death of her first husband Charles Poss, Regina married and lived with the widower and farmer Francis Shank, and his 7 children, in Carroll Twp., Cambria Co. After the death of Francis in 1872, Regina married Leonard Hiller and they are found together in the 1875 Census for Beaver Falls and 1885 Census for Bird Island, Renville Co., Minn. After the death of Leonard, Regina lived with the family of her son Anthony in Birch Cooley Twp. and Franklin, and also the home of her daughter Elizabeth Hufnagel in Bird Twp., Renville Co., Minn.
