Notes for Anthony Farabaugh
Census records from 1870-1900 show that Anthony was raised in Carroll Township, Cambria Co., Pa., where he worked on his parents' farm. At the time of his marriage, Anthony was a brewer. Anthony and Isabel occupied their own farm in Carroll Township, near Patton, Pa.

As a widower in 1930, Anthony retired as a farmer and was living at the home of his sister Matilda Burkey in Patton, Pa. Anthony later moved to the Dale section of Johnstown, Pa.
Notes for Isabella F. (Spouse 1)
Died of “Loco-motor atopia.” Isabel’s parentage cannot be matched in census records. Her death certificate incorrectly identifies her as “Elizabeth Bolin,” with parents as Conrad Bolin and Sarah Lauding. There is an apparent match in the 1860 Census for Conrad and Sarah Bolen, but neither Isabel nor Elizabeth show for Conrad’s household in 1870 or 1880. It appears her mother died in childbirth, leaving the strong possibility that Isabel was raised elsewhere.
