John was a clerk with the Conn. House of Representatives, during the tenure of Gov. John Lodge. He bought and sold antique silver and furniture and was also a licensed realtor, designing and building several homes in the area of Westport, Conn., where he and his wife Mary Jane lived. John also had employment with Clare Booth Luce, entertainer Billy Rose and Arthur Murray’s Dance Studio.
