Marcus was a teacher and was employed at the Anaconda Smelter in Great Falls, Mont. He was an Army veteran of WWII and later relocated to California where he worked for Lockheed, and became a chief inspector of blueprints. He settled in Burbank, Ca. Marcus died suddenly of a heart attack while enroute to work.
