By 1930 Bertha, as a widow, was living with the family of her son Jack in Choteau, Teton Co. By 1935, she was living in Choteau with three of her single sons: Jack, Charles and Patrick. In 1956, Bertha moved to be with her daughter Mary Loretta in San Diego, Ca.
