Notes for William Anthony Duffey
William served six months in France in the 30th Balloon Corps during WWI. He contracted an affliction that developed into the consumption and in September of 1919 he was among soldiers that were sent to the Montana State Tuberculosis Sanitarium, in Galen Mont. William suffered an attack of low grade appendicitis in his weakened state, which reduced his vitality and led to his demise.
